Lincolnshire dialect is a wonderful, unique thing.

To non yellowbellys, some of it is as good as another language. So just what qualifies as county dialect and what do some of those strange words actually mean?

We have put together a list of 64 with what we believe them to mean. How many of them do you recognise? What others would you add to the list?

25.Fogle - Lead on, swindled

27.Siling – as in siling down with rain

29.It's looking rare and black ower bull's mothers noo – it's looking very grey and dark and bad weather is coming

There is a local word for a hedgehog
