A murder probe has been launched after a man died in hospital.
The 42-year-old, from Coronation Close in Spalding, was rushed to hospital yesterday with a serious head injury.
He was treated at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, but died in the early hours of this morning, Friday August 29.
Detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit are investigating.
Two young girls and one boy, who police say are local, have been arrested in connection with the man’s death.
Officer say all three remain in custody.
Community Inspector Jim Tyner said: “Coronation Close is a close-knit community and I know many will be affected by what has happened.
"My officers will be carrying out extra patrols in the area and I would urge residents to approach them with any concerns."
Officers are making enquiries in the Coronation Close area.
