gsx1100, I think you could be right but it would have to be on the basis that the phantom shed burglar tells someone where he is going that night. If he doesn't then the squad are going to be trying to piece together a local shed break in with golfing accident at GlenEagles.

Punishment for you, CardiffImp? no way. You should be commended. How many people, who catch a miscreant, would teach them golf as part of their rehabilitation? At least if a damaged intruder is found, the authorities will heading for theknowitalls door and not ours. Good job really, he seems a bit of a wrong 'un.

From past experience, I know the authorities peruse these pages. So for the record, I have built a naughty step down the bottom of my garden. Any intruder caught will be made to sit on it for 10 minutes to reflect on their wrongdoing, and will also be asked to say sorry before being allowed to leave.

My shed not only has an alarm but is also protected by a 1 wood and a cricket bat and there will be no need for a third umpire.
