Burglars came back for car after stealing keys in Skegness house burglary

Detectives are investigating a house burglary in a Lincolnshire town where a car key was stolen - and the vehicle was taken 45 minutes later.

It happened in Cecil Avenue in Skegness, where there was a burglary on Tuesday night.

Detective Constable Emily Wooll-Rivers said: "At between 11pm and 11.30pm on January 21 two offenders entered the property and stole a mobile phone, PS3 and games, and the key to a silver Ford Fiesta."

And at 12.15pm the criminals returned and drove off in the car, registration Y881 RCB.
