CASTING is under way for the main role in a local film project, following the death of the original lead actor.

Earlier this week, the Echo reported on the death of actor James Aubrey, who died in his home in Sleaford.

He played the lead role of Ralph in the 1963 film adaptation of William Golding's Lord Of The Flies.

Aubrey was set to play the lead in local independent film Shadows Of A Stranger.

The crew have now been forced to recast the main role and have put a call out for a local male actor aged between 50 and 60.

The late actor was also a major part in bringing together the rest of the cast as he read against all the actors during auditions at The Hub in Sleaford.

The cast also includes Colin Baker, who is best known for his role as the sixth doctor in the classic British science fiction series Dr Who.
