The Age UK charity shop in Boston has lost £3,000 worth of furniture after last night's flooding.
Staff and volunteers had been at the shop in Church Lane since 6am today to try and clean up the store which had been filled with water.
Manager Stephen Childs said: “We came down when the flood was going, it was two feet deep. The water levels inside the shop were higher than outside.
"I've never seen anything like it. The water came in from the river so there was sewage in it.
“So much stuff has got to go. We had to just sit back and watch it happen."
