Club wants new players

Sleaford hockey club are looking for new players.

They require boys and girls in school Years 5, 6 and 7 for the under 12 team and school years 8 and 9 for the under 14 team.

Club coach, Mark Scholes, said the new players' involvement is vital in order for the club to continue its involvement in the Lincolnshire Mini Hockey League. The league runs from October to May.

The club train on the all weather pitch at Carre's Grammar School every Saturday (11.30am-1pm).

All equipment is provided and training starts again in September.

The club recently finished off their season by attending a festival day at Skegness.

The weather was very hot but everyone who took part had a really good day.

A very enjoyable season was had for all members of Sleaford Hockey Club.

The club is now looking forward to the new season with old and new members.
