Working dads swapped life at the office for a day at a North Hykeham nursery as part of a new scheme to get them more involved with their little ones.
Staff at Fun Farm Day Nursery came up with their "Dads Behaving Dadly" challenge after being inspired by a TV show called Daddy Daycare.
The series saw nine working dads who felt they did not spend enough time with their children take a crash course in daycare.
After asking mums to nominate partners, five dads joined Fun Farm's front line and helped out with everything from playtime and feeding to nappy changing and cleaning.
Sharon Leib, manager of Fun Farm Day Nursery, said: "It will hopefully get the dads to engage more with their own kids and show them everything that mums and daycare staff go through."
Richard Lowe, a 41-year-old supermarket manager from Lincoln, has two children at the nursery – 11-month-old Ted and three-year-old Jasmin.
He said: "They had me feeding the littles ones and cleaning up the mess afterwards and playing with them too.
"It's not something I'd like to do every day but it's certainly made me appreciate everything that goes on here and everything that goes on at home."
