Back with their second production, amateur theatre company Out Of The Box return this week with Me And My Friend by Gillian Plowman.

The play is a black comedy looking into the somewhat uncomfortable subject of mental health and its after 'care in the community', and will be performed once again in The Room Upstairs at Lincoln Drill Hall on Friday and Saturday.

Four characters – two men in one flat and two women in another – are all trying to adapt to being re-introduced to society. The play culminates in the two pairs meeting up for a 'party' where their eccentricities and social awkwardness become all the more apparent.

Lincoln-based Out Of The Box was founded by Lisa Hewitt-Smith and Simon Harvey who presented Their first production The Blue Room in September.

January 25-26, 7.30pm. Tickets: £8. Box office: 01522 873894, www.lincolndrillhall.com
