More than 300 people attended an exhibition about proposals to develop a five-turbine wind farm near Sleaford.

The event was held at Stubton Village Hall, on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29.

RWE npower renewables is planning the facility for land at Temple Hill, between Stubton and Brandon.

Developer Sarah Lee said public feedback would help shape the final designs.

"Our plans for a development at Temple Hill are still in the early stages and the comments we have received will be really valuable in helping us to shape our plans," she said.

"We will now study the feedback and use it to inform the design and layout of the proposed site."

Further environmental studies will be carried out on the site and it will be decided whether an application will be submitted next year.

If RWE had taken the slightest notice of the public feedback they would have packed up after the first day and gone back to Germany.

What the developer Sarah Lee did not say was that exit polls indicated that 95% of local residents were opposed to the proposed industrial wind farm. Anyone interested in more info please see http://tinyurl.com/6sae25w
