The Red Herring Comedy Club Xmas Special rounds off a busy year bringing top comedians to Lincoln on Saturday, December 1.
Event organiser Shaun Almey says: "Our headliner, Junior Simpson, has too many TV, radio, theatre, writing and warm-up credits to list. Alongside performing at the biggest clubs in the country and further afield he must be one of the most prolific acts currently working and with his infectious energy and huge stage presence it is easy to see why he is a favourite."
First up will be Chris Turner, one of the emerging stars of the comedy circuit.
Shaun says: "Chris has some finely crafted one-liners and is probably one of the most improbable of improv rappers that you are ever likely to see. Intelligent wordplay and deliciously dark jokes nestle amongst a set rich with puns and oblique observations.
"Rhys Mathewson is a kiwi act that's new to the UK. After seeing him perform at this year's Edinburgh Festival we had to get him to Lincoln. Young, silly, quirky and a great delivery, it's not a surprise that he's the youngest, at 19, winner of the Billy T Award at The New Zealand International Comedy Festival."
MC for the night is Lloyd Griffith.
