A unique chance to see inside the cockpit of a Lancaster Bomber and watch it taxi along the runway will be on offer at the RAFBF East Kirkby Airshow, on September 15.
The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre houses Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane' and there will be an opportunity to get up close to the historic aircraft with a cockpit gantry.
Four hours of flying displays will also feature everything from Spitfires to the Dennis Nevilles Flying Circus, with top aircraft appearing from across the UK.
The annual air show is in aid of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund to help raise funds for work with injured service men and women and to raise funds for the upkeep of the Lancaster 'Just Jane'.
Organisers are hoping to raise between five and ten thousand pounds from the event, hoping to surpass last year's visitor numbers over 2,700.
Andrew Panton, Event Organiser said: "There are lots of things for people to see with a chance to look in the Lancaster cockpit and a great flying display.
"With trade stands, re-enactments and classic cars on display it is an ideal family day out."
Gates open at 10am providing chance to look around the classic cars, historic re-enactments and stands before the flying display starts at 1:30pm.
