Rock-bottom Lincoln Moorlands face another serious test this weekend when they welcome high-flying Scarborough Athletic to Newark Road.

The Moors, who were due to play Brighouse at home last night, have an astonishing goal difference of minus 27 after just eight games.

They also saw manager Matt Carmichael depart after just four games having only taken over during the summer.

And Scarborough will be hoping to deepen their misery as they look to maintain the pressure at the top end of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division table.

Winless Lincoln United will hope to record their first victory of the season when they entertain King's Lynn Town in the Evo-Stik First Division (South).

Terry Fleming's side are on a wretched run at the moment having recorded no points since the season began.

King's Lynn will be looking to take full advantage as they sit 10th in the league table.

Meanwhile, Grantham Town will look to build on their encouraging start to the season when they travel to Ashton United.

The Gingerbreads go into the game on the back of a 3-1 win against Loughborough Dynamo in the FA Cup.

Sleaford Town are on FA Vase duty this weekend at East Midlands Counties league outfit Blaby & Whetstone.

It is the second qualifying round of the competition with Glen Maddison's side having earned a bye in the competition's opening stage.

Sleaford will hope to earn much-needed prize money from one of non-league's most coveted trophies.
