Two goals from Matty Blair steered York City's promotion push back on track this afternoon as they secured a 2-0 win at Lincoln City.

After a quiet first half, the visitors opened the scoring in the 64th minute when Blair lashed in from 12 yards.

He then grabbed his second eight minutes later with another instinctive finish.

Lincoln struggled to create any clear cut chances, but felt they should have had a penalty when Jon Challinor appeared to handle in the box, but it was not given.

Will give it a whirl, hopefully it will cover something of tomorrow's game

@EatmyGoal. Imp88 is spot on, callers tend to be London based and slight bias to the South but good insight to all things non league and mostly BSQ Prem. Good piece on Darlo & Kettering plight on latest podcast.

Sounds good, apart from the Tilson bit! Will have a listen to that then. I still download the NPower Football League one, listened to it in the gym today. Always tinged with sadness though as I know it will be many years before I hear anything about Lincoln on there

Its all clubs - its a good listen for the way to work just to get to know more about the league we are now in and below. Sometimes is a bit annoying with the N. Irish pundit on there but a good listen. They had a phone interview with Tilson at the start of the season which was 10 minutes of stuttering and answering every question stummering followed by our "budget is tiny".

Resurrection, that podcast for non league, is it all clubs or just London based? I have thought about getting it but it is produced by BBC London so have never bothered.

Ressurection-there has not been very little information about Citys latest financial report either in the Echo or from the club.Remember this information is publicly available . Unless there are any dedicated finance stories in the echo, then it is inevitable that punters who want to discuss such matters will do it on a football thread. I am afraid this subject is too important to be ignored.

@LincolnSar. The post was Lincoln 0 York 2. This received 12 comments on the game and 50 surrounding Financial & Board comments! Surely the game deserved more than 12 comments on it? I would rather hear yours and others comment on what they witnessed in 90 minutes not on information they are directly not privy too at present. Perhaps when stories are released in the press with the club commenting on factual information or making a club statement on our actual financial affairs as they are now then it can be thrown around as much as those wish too. I agree with you it's an important issue but would rather this thread had been more about the game.

think we are all a bit confused about the playing side with all the comings and goings recently on the playing side . its a case of wait ond see on that one then i am sure people will talk about that side more, win or lose after time. all these people who think some are talking about the board and off field activities . some have given their opinion where the club is going now and into the future. indeed i am have had a rant myself previously. all those people who are moaning about us talking about it . please i would like to know , where exactly do they think the club is going under the present regime off the field which we all know effects on field activities .

If anyone is still interested in Football on the pitch and not bean counting worth having a listen to the BBC Non league podcast weekly. http://tinyurl.com/yhfso2t All about non-league club issues well worth a listen. Whilst I appreciate concerns around our financial problems can we please get off the topic of club financial matters for a short time? This latest post has been done to death. The LCFC club set of knives seem to appear every time we get a run of defeats looking for blame. We have much more to talk about on the pitch and how we can look for our next win.
