Lincoln City goalkeeper Paul Farman has been named in the England C squad for their forthcoming friendly clash with Albania.

Farman will make his debut for England in Durres on Tuesday, October 16.

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form this season and currently sits top of the Lincolnshire Echo's points ratings, see page 93.

Imps boss David Holdsworth was delighted for the talented shot-stopper.

"It was brilliant that Paul Farman has been named in the England C squad," said Holdsworth.

"He is 22 and a lad with a lot of potential. I've kept a close eye on him for a long time and it was great news.

"Players like him, Vidane Oliver and Conner Robinson are what this club is about, it is about good young lads who are willing and eager.

Engand C: Preston Edwards (Ebbsfleet United), Paul Farman (Lincoln City), Greg Taylor (Tamworth), Aswad Thomas (Grimsby Town), Jamie Turley and Eddie Oshodi (both Forest Green Rovers), Simon Ainge (Luton Town), Lindon Mielkle (Mansfield Town), Josh Gilles (Gateshead), Matthew Taylor and Kieron Forbes (both Forest Green Rovers), James Vincent and Adam Watkins (both Kidderminster Harriers), Scott Spencer (Hyde), Andre Gray (Luton Town), Josh Wilson (Guiseley).
