Lincoln City have bolstered their midfield options with the signing of teenager Jake Jones on a one-month youth loan deal from League One side Walsall.

The 19-year-old has come through the ranks at the Saddlers and was part of the Walsall team which took on Lincoln City in the FA Cup last November.

He had previously been on loan at Redditch United.

Maybe (AN dI hope this is true) he can play in the centre too or at full back? Becasue we sure as hell don't need a winger - do we???

No disrespect to you redimposter, but Lincoln need at least one centre back and one full back. The last thing the club needs is a "speedboat without a driver"type of player!

No disrespect to the lad but I would have preferred to have seen Danny Lloyd back to be perfectly honest.

Not sure the Football Club has a desperate need to sign a 19yr old winger on loan? Plenty of depth in Platt, Sherdian, Nicolau, Smith, Barraclough and Robinson. I am sure DH is working to get players in but of much more urgency for me is cover in Central Midfield and in the back four.
