Lincoln Ladies are set to announce a new manager after ex-Charlton boss Keith Boanas decided not to take up the role ahead of the new FA Women's Super League season.
Boanas agreed to take over the job at the Lady Imps after the club parted ways with Glen Harris at the end of the 2012 season. Having won the Women's FA Cup with Charlton and then taken over the Estonia women's team, Boanas arrived with a strong pedigree in the women's game.
However, he has since decided to remain in Estonia where he is currently involved in the development of women's football.
Lincoln Ladies aim to announce their new manager shortly.
"Whilst we had lengthy discussions with Keith, nothing was set in stone and it came to light that his Estonia role was going to be difficult to leave," said Lincoln Ladies chief excutive Luke Negus-Hill.
"We have acted quickly and discussions with our new appointment have gone extremely well and I look forward to working with them in the very near future."
