Lincoln Ladies in deal to play home games at Sincil Bank

Lincoln Ladies' are to play all home fixtures for the upcoming FA Women's Super League season at The 12th Imp Sincil Bank Stadium.

The deal between the Football Association and Lincoln Ladies means that some of the leading names in the world of women's football will be gracing the turf at the largest capacity stadium in Lincolnshire.

Lincoln City chief executive Steve Prescott said: "This is a very exciting development for both clubs. Following months of negotiations, I am pleased that an agreement has finally been reached with the FA and Lincoln Ladies FC.

"This will not only generate valuable income for Lincoln City Football Club but will also enable us to produce and maintain a high-quality playing surface that will withstand the rigours of both team's seasons."

Lincoln Ladies' Chief Executive Luke Negus-Hill added: "We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Lincoln City. Their facility is top class and gives us one of the best venues in the league.

"We are confident playing at Sincil Bank will not only aid us in our campaign but also see an increase in the number of supporters attending our games."

Lincoln Ladies' 2013 fixture list is scheduled for release shortly.
