Lincoln United have snapped up former Lincoln City youngster Andy Hutchinson.

The striker is set to be involved when the Whites go in search of their first points of the season at fellow strugglers Market Drayton Town on Saturday.

Terry Fleming side's have lost six out of six in the Evo-Stik League Division One (South) after suffering another narrow defeat last weekend.

The Whites lost 3-2 to King's Lynn Town at the NTR Solutions Stadium last Saturday.

After a goal-less first half, Chris Funnell fired the Whites in front four minutes after the break.

Lynn hit back to lead 2-1 after a brace from Jaime Bradshaw, but Stuart Reddington looked to have rescued a point for United when he scored 15 minutes from time.

But the visitors restored their lead just a minute late when Robert Hughes pounced following a defensive error.

Lincoln Moorlands Railway at least have a point on the board, but that is the only positive after the Newark Road outfit suffered another mauling last Saturday.

The Moors were smashed 10-0 at home by Scarborough Athletic in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Their heaviest defeat of the season leaves them rooted to the foot of the table with a goal difference of minus 39.

Moorlands, who were due to host Thackley last night (Wednesday), have another home game on Saturday against Bridlington Town.

However, things are looking up for Sleaford Town.

After recording their first victory of the season in the United Counties League Premier Division, Glen Maddison's side booked their place in the first round proper of the FA Vase with a 1-0 win at Blaby & Whetstone. Striker Liam Tunstall scored the only goal in the 32nd minute.

On Saturday, Sleaford return to league action with a visit to Newport Pagnell Town.

In the same division, Boston Town host Kempston Rovers.

Grantham Town travel to Cambridge City in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
