Lincoln man arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs

A 32-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Police stopped the suspect's car by the railway crossing on Brayford Wharf East shortly before 3pm today.

The man was also detained on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.

He is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.

UPDATE: The man has been released on police bail until November 20 pending further enquiries.
