Lincoln van drivers warned after satnav thefts

Van drivers in Lincoln are being warned after a number of thefts from vehicles in the South of the city.

Police are urging people not to leave any property in their vehicles when they are unattended after two satnav devices have been stolen in as many days.

Between 6pm on September 17 and 4.30pm on September 18 thieves smashed a window on a Mercedes Sprinter van in Calder Road, Lincoln, and stole a satnav.

A satnav was also stolen after a window was smashed on a Peugeot Boxer van in Foyle Close, Lincoln, on September 18.

Members of the public are being asked by police to report any suspicious activity around vehicles immediately via the 101 non-emergency number.
