Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust appoints new deputy director of nursing

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has appointed a new deputy director of nursing and clinical governance.

Michelle Persaud has joined the trust from Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

Ms Persaud, who has 33 years of NHS experience, started her career as a learning disability nurse in 1984.

She has worked across the country in a variety of posts.

Trust director of nursing and operations, Dr Julie Hall, said:  "I am delighted to welcome someone with Michelle's experience and commitment to our Trust.  

"She has a national track record in professional nurse development and improving quality. 

"I am sure that Michelle will help us drive our vision and strategy for nursing across the organisation."

Ms Persaud said she was looking forward to the challenges facing her in her new role.

    Let's hope she gets better treatment than Gary Walker if she dares to speak out about patient care.
