Fugitive Ivan Leach, who went missing from a Lincolnshire prison, has today been arrested in London.
Leach, from Preston in Lancashire, went missing from North Sea Camp open prison, near Boston, on Tuesday, October 9, after going on day-release.
He was serving a life sentence for robbery.
Officers warned that 47-year-old Leach - also known as Lee Cyrus - should not, under any circumstances, be approached by members of the public as he posed a significant risk.
Police forces across England and Scotland worked together in an effort to track him down.
He was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is now in custody at a north London police station.
