The ghosts and ghouls are behind us and now it is time to look forward to another winter favourite – Bonfire Night.
And Lincolnshire residents are being spoilt for choice with a series of firework spectaculars being held across the county.
Tomorrow night the Bailgate Rotary club will be staging its annual fireworks display at Lincoln Golf Centre in Moor Lane at Thorpe On The Hill.
Gates will open at 5pm and the event is expected to last around three hours.
Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £2 for children and will be available on the gate.
All money raised at the event will go to Rotary Club charities, including St Barnabas Hospice and Lincoln Nomad Trust.
And on Friday Lincolnshire Showground will be hosting its annual fireworks event.
On the night gates will open at 4pm and a children's firework display – without the big bangs of the adult display – will be held at 6.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm, with the main firework display beginning at 8.30pm.
Tickets are available on the gate or online at www.lincolnshirefireworks.co.uk
Prices are £6 for adults, £3 for children and family tickets are £15.
Caistor Lions will also be holding a fireworks event on Saturday at South Street Park in Caistor.
Gates open at 6pm and a junior fireworks display will be held at 6.45pm, followed by the main display at 7pm.
And for those who prefer a smaller affair, a bonfire and barbecue will take place at Southrey Village Hall, near Bardney from 6.15pm on Saturday. Adult tickets are £2, children's tickets are £1 and children under five go free.
Lincoln Scout group will also stage their own bonfire on Friday night at their Clarke Road base off Doddington Road, Lincoln. Gates open at 6pm.
