A MAN who admitted downloading and possessing thousands of indecent photographs of children has been warned he faces jail.
Kevin Baxter pleaded guilty to three charges of possessing a total of 9,253 indecent images on June 18, 2009.
He also admitted a total of 10 charges of making an indecent image of a child on dates between May 2004 and January 2009.
The charges follow a police raid on a property in Keble Court, Clinton Park, Tattershall in June 2009.
Baxter, 49, of Cedar Close, Patchway, Bristol, was placed on the sex offenders' register and granted bail to appear back before the Crown Court for sentence next month.
Judge Michael Heath told him: "The fact that I grant you bail does not mean that you won't go to prison. The likelihood is that you will."
