A man has brandished a 'meat cleaver' in a robbery at a Ladbrokes betting shop in Lincoln.

The offender entered the shop in Guildhall Street at around 7pm on Saturday, took out what appeared to be a meat cleaver and demanded money. He left with a quantity of cash and no-one was hurt.

He was wearing a blue, hooded top, blue jeans and black trainers. He had a scarf covering his face and a black hat. He left riding a white bicycle and was carrying the cash in an orange Hessian cash handling bag.
