Motorbike rider, 28, seriously injured in Bracebridge Heath crash

A 28-year-old Lincoln motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash.

He was riding a black Honda machine which was involved in a collision at Bracebridge Heath last night.

The motorcycle and a blue Vauxhall Corsa crashed at 5.17pm on the B1131 Canwick Avenue at Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "The rider of the motorcycle, a 28-year-old man from Lincoln, was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Lincoln County Hospital.

"He was transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham where he is currently being treated.

"The 53-year-old female driver of the Corsa and an 18-year-old female passenger, both from Sleaford, were not thought to have been seriously injured in the collision.

"The road was closed following the incident and reopened just before 9pm last night."

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to call 101, quoting incident 348 of May 22.
