Comments (1)

Mrs Smith's Cottage in Navenby will be closed to the public for an unknown period of time due to potential structural problems.

A routine structural survey carried out on behalf of owners, North Kesteven District Council, has identified potential structural problems at the cottage.

It has been advised that the cottage should be closed to the public for the present time, pending further investigation and remedial action taken should this be necessary.

North Kesteven District Council and the Friends of Mrs. Smith's Cottage, would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this unexpected closure.

The period of closure will be kept to the minimum possible.

For more information, call the museum office on 01522 811469 or the venue services manager on 01529 308102.
