Morrisons and Sainsbury's, plus Sleaford Service Station in Bracebridge Heath, are the cheapest places to buy unleaded fuel in the Lincoln area.

The figures, from the website www.petrolprices.com, list the three as offering unleaded at 132.9p.

Also in the top five are Asda (133.7p) and the Winning Post Service Station on Carholme Road (133.9p).

The website, which maintains pricing information on thousands of pumps across the UK, also provides listings on diesel prices.

Clubcard points, that's the reason. We'd never go there as we never use tesco for anything.

I can't believe there are always such huge queues at Tesco Petrol despite it being consistently the most expensive supermarket for petrol and often even more expensive than many non-supermarket petrol stations
