Police say there was "some slight disorder" after Lincoln City's FA Cup second round tie with Mansfield, which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Superintendent David Lynch said nearly all of the 1,207 Mansfield supporters who visited Lincoln were well behaved.
"There was some slight disorder in the southern part of the High Street that lasted for 15 to 20 seconds," he said.
"We are working with our colleagues in Nottinghanshire Police to pursue football banning orders against anyone who was involved.
"Other than that, one person who was ejected from the ground by stewards for being drunk was arrested."
