Santa Claus is touring Lincolnshire communities

Santa Claus is coming to town - escorted by firefighters from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.

The Santa’s Sleigh tour is back and this the aims is to raise more than ever for The Fire Fighters Charity, which provides support and therapy to injured firefighters and their families.

Santa will be with the firefighters assisting in the collection efforts in:

Walcott and Timberland from 5pm on Saturday, December 14.

Billinghay and Market Place from 5pm on Sunday, 15.

Tattershall and North and South Kyme from 5pm on Monday, 16.

Gonerby, from 6pm on Monday, 9, Earlsfield, Grantham, from 6pm on Tuesday, 10.

Princess Drive, Grantham, from 6pm on Wednesday, December 11, Barrowby Gate from 6pm on Thursday, 12, and Springfield from 6pm on Friday, 13.

Lincoln, from 6pm each day, Ermine East, Monday, 16, St Giles, on Tuesday, 17, Ermine West on Wednesday, 18, Tower Estate on Thursday, 19, and Birchwood on Friday, 20.

Louth on 18 and 19 with Betsy the vintage fire appliance (times/locations to be confirmed).

Metheringham from 4pm on Sunday, 1, and 4.30pm on Saturday 22.

Martin, Digby and Scopwick villages from 4.30pm on Sunday, 14.

Ruskington from 4.30pm on Sunday, 15, and Dunston, Potterhanworth and Nocton villages from 4.30pm on Saturday, 21.

Saxilby from 4pm on Saturday, 14 and Sunday, 15. Monies raised here will be split between The Fire Fighters Charity and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

    ...who ate all the pies?? Santa did of course ho ho ho! Mind in saying that and looking at the photo, he could probably do with eating a few more - looks like Santa has been on a diet :)
