Pop icon Cher has backed Lincolnshire's Ella Henderson as she sailed through boot camp in this year's X Factor.
Millions of viewers tuned in to see the Tetney teenager perform a breathtaking rendition of the singer's 1998 hit Believe.
And our Ella received a standing ovation – even bringing judge Nicole Scherzinger to tears.
After the unforgettable performance, the superstar Cher took to her Twitter account to say: "went on Utube 2 c young girl sing Believe! Tears came 2 my eyes! So Touching!
"a Great version of a Great Song. WE Can Share It !"
Before her show-stealing performance, 16-year-old Ella explained her unusual song choice.
She said: "I wanted to challenge myself a bit more and pick a song that was completely out of the box and out of my comfort zone.
"I keep going through it in my head and trying to put my twist on it because it's so different to what I normally do.
"I really hope they like it."
But the judges did not like it, they loved it, with Gary Barlow heaping praise on the Lincolnshire lass.
"I've got to say that if I was to have a top five of the most annoying songs of all time, that would definitely come fairly close to the top for me," he said.
"But today, I would pay lots of money to hear that song again.
"That was amazing. Well done."
After Ella had left the stage, wiping tears from her eyes, former Pussycat Doll Nicole added: "We can't touch her.
"We just have to be in awe of her."
In her first audition, Ella wowed the judges and became an overnight sensation after she performed a self-penned song.
This weekend, she will be singing to impress her mentor Tulisa Contostavlos and guest judge Tinie Tempah in Saint Lucia.
She will bid to make it through to the live shows.
