Suspect in attempted Lincolnshire bank robbery caught on CCTV

CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Lincolnshire have been released.

The man entered the HSBC bank in High Street, Spilsby, shortly before 2pm yesterday carrying what is believed to be a firearm and demanded money from staff.

No-one was hurt during the incident and the offender quickly left the bank empty-handed.

Anyone who was in the area at the time is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
