TRAVEL: Stray caravan collected from A1

UPDATE - 1.10pm: A stray caravan has been collected from the A1 at Marston, near Grantham.

Lincolnshire Police's Roads Policing Unit sent out a message about the incident on Twitter at around 12.30pm.

It said: "Getting reports of a caravan on the A1 northbound near the Marston junction.

"If you [know] anyone who has lost it let us know."

UPDATE - 9am: A two-vehicle crash has closed part of the A158 in Baumber, near Horncastle.

Police, who were called at 8.35am, said the westbound carriageway was closed.

There have been no major incidents reported on Lincolnshire roads this morning.

    Why do the Police send reports out on Twitter, is it to trap motorists into using their mobile phones at the wheel.........

    "Not the A158 for sure!" No, nor the A1, and theres no caravan either !
