A TEENAGE tycoon has hailed his company's first flight in Lincolnshire as a "real privilege".
Joseph Hayat, 18, director of Lincoln-based HiAir Ltd, has been operating flights close to the county but is celebrating after breaking his Yellowbelly duck.
Mr Hayat provided a helicopter for students from arts college Caistor Yarborough attending a prom.
He said: "It was the first ever time we've had a flight operate within Lincolnshire and it was operated by an R44 helicopter with four seats, which flew two passengers to Hemswell from North Lincolnshire.
"It was a real privilege to operate a flight within Lincolnshire itself and somewhat surreal to see the aircraft fly over Lincoln en-route to pick up the passengers.
"It was very inspiring as, for me, it really homed in on the fact that anyone can be successful in business – you've just got to believe in yourself and never give up, regardless of whoever and whatever comes in your way."
Mr Hayat added weather conditions were good for the flight.
