The woman who died after being rushed to hospital from a house in Lincoln's Baggholme Road has been named locally as Tessie Wilson.
A picture of Miss Wilson, 28, cuddling a friend's dog Precious has been put up in the window of the property with the words: "RIP. Tessie Wilson. Loved and cherished by so many.
"You will be missed angel. Love Craig and Precious."
Close friend Craig Humbey, who lives at the address, told the Echo: "She was fun. A brilliant girl.
"I knew her for about six months. She was someone I just clicked with and we were close friends.
"One thing about her that made me laugh was when I went to see her in hospital last month when she had a problem with her kidneys.
"She told me she wasn't happy to see me because she didn't have any make-up on.
"I asked her if she understood that the reason I went to see her was because I cared about her."
It is understood Miss Wilson was originally from Hawaii and was due to begin an accountancy job next week.
She attended a Bible group at St Mary le Wigford Church.
Police were called to the house just after midnight on Saturday, May 31.
Miss Wilson was taken from the address by emergency services to Lincoln County Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation is under way.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place this week.
