Late-night drinking parties, loud music and out-all-hours antics are turned on their heads in Ron Aldridge's comedy, You're Only Young Twice.

Ian Dickens Productions International will present the play at Lincoln Theatre Royal, starring Melvyn Hayes – an actor best known for playing Gunner "Gloria" Beaumont in 70s sitcom It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

The cast also includes David Lonsdale (David Stockwell from the series Heartbeat), John B. Collins (Flt. Lt. Fairfax from 'Allo 'Allo!), Katy Manning and Michelle Morris.

Brooksie, a recent widower, is the cause of Sue and Richard's problems as he and his friends try to recapture their youth. Described as a hilarious and touching play, proving you're as young as you feel.

You're Only Young Twice at Lincoln Theatre Royal on Thursday and Friday, July 5-6 (7.30pm). Tickets: Adults £19, Children £16.50. Box office: 01522 519999, www.lincolntheatreroyal.com.
