The A46 Lincoln bypass has reopened after an overturned trailer caused it to close.
Both lanes of the southbound carriageway were blocked, between the Carholme Road and A15 roundabouts, from around 3.15pm.
UPDATE - 07/03 - 5.01pm: Police say the southbound carriageway will be clear "soon", advising drivers to be aware of traffic build up.
UPDATE - 07/03 - 4.20pm: Police say the southbound lanes will be closed for "at least another hour" while debris and fuel are cleared from the road.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the Riseholme Road/A15 roundabout.
An overturned trailer is causing traffic problems on the A46 Lincoln bypass.
Both lanes on the southbound carriageway have been blocked, between the Carholme Road and A15 roundabouts, since around 3.15pm today.
Police said the closure could be in place until around 4.30pm while a recovery vehicle makes its way to the scene.
Officers were called at 3.16pm to reports that a trailer carrying a mini-digger, pulled by a 4x4, had overturned.
Nobody is thought to have been injured.
