A specially commissioned video has been made to celebrate 30 years of Lincoln’s Christmas Market.

It was after organisers promised this year's market will be the best one ever.

The market is back for its 30th year, although it was cancelled in 2010 due to heavy snow.

It will also be celebrated with an online timeline, charting people’s memories of the market all the way back to 1982.

This year will also see ‘market makers’ guiding people through the event, based on the London 2012 Games Makers.

A new website and interactive map will also guide visitors around stalls at the event, from December 5 to December 8.
