Boston rappers 50 sniffs have released the video for their Christmas hit Credit Card Christmas.
The band have decided that profits from the single will be donated to victims of the Boston flood.
The group’s frontman ‘Fiddy’ - aka Jimmy May - was out in Boston the day after the flood, to get involved with the clean-up operation.
“We had planned to release a charity single for a while with proceeds going locally but after seeing the damage caused by the flood we wanted to help the victims,” he said.
“We’re hoping to get into the top 40, you can download the single from itunes for only 79p. We’ve all had close friends affected by the floods and want to do our bit to help,” he added.
50 Sniffs are known for their risqué rap tracks, set to the music of popular artists like 50 Cent and Lily Allen.
Their last song, Fish, Chips and Donkey Ridez, was sung to the tune of Nikki Minaj’s Starships and the comical video attracted more than 150,000 views on Youtube.
