A RECENTLY-FORMED Lincolnshire band will launch the music video for its first single at a free gig in Skegness.
Hap-Hazard, which formed in February 2013, is a group of friends, featuring Molly Cartawick from Sutton on Sea as singer, Alex Martin from Spilsby on lead guitar, Sam Dawson from Spilsby on bass guitar and Dex Oswald from Skegness on drums.
The video was produced by the Lincoln Film and Television School in Alford who chose the group as the main project for its summer school workshop
Lead singer, Molly Cartawick, said the group were looking forward to the launch.
She said: “ The whole band is really excited for the gig.
“It’s a real relief to get the video sorted and finally get something out there.
“We are hoping to get a fan group and more followers then get back in the studio.”
Hap-Hazard are an alternative rock group who write their own material as well as covering modern songs as well as some classics.
Their first single is entitled ‘What they need (Dinky Riff)’.
The launch will take place on January 31 at the Grand Central, with Hap-Hazard supported by Two-Step.
Doors open at 8pm.
