A teenage boy and four men have been arrested in connection with crimes against teenage girls.
The victims - three aged 14 and one aged 15 - were allegedly assaulted in four separate incidents in July this year.
The men are thought to have travelled to the Newark area, although the assaults are alleged to have taken place in the Leicestershire area.
The suspects - a 17-year-old boy and four men aged between 18 and 23 - were arrested following a series of raids at addresses in Leicester on Wednesday morning.
All five were arrested on suspicion of child abduction, while two of them were arrested on suspicion of serious sexual assault.
They are currently in custody in Nottinghamshire.
