Opening Times

Open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9am to 9pm (or dusk if earlier). The information centre is open daily from 9am to 5pm April to October. From November to December, the information centre is open every weekend from 9am to 4pm.

Wonderful hidden reserve

“This nice nature reserve was well worth travelling to, that is once I found it. Look out for many birds, particularly those marsh harriers. I don't know anywhere else that you can watch these birds of prey in such numbers. Plenty of other wildlife around like roe deer, hares and those amazing water voles from reception. Certainly worth popping in for. Note that this reserve is 8 miles from Goole and is on the south bank of the River Ouse so don't go to the village of Blacktoft!”
