Alex Lowes is in contention to join one of the biggest teams in the British Superbike paddock after holding talks with the Samsung Honda squad.
Lowes has been linked with the Louth-based team after former employers, Team WFR Honda, folded at the end of the season.
The Lincoln rider is one of the most wanted men in the paddock after enjoying a stunning second half to the year with WFR, which saw him reach the BSB Showdown and claim two wins at Silverstone.
Despite a successful year, WFR have decided to pull out of the sport, citing financial reasons.
However, Lowes is still managed personally by Myles Schofield, WFR's managing director, who is believed to be conducting negotiations with former BSB champions Samsung Honda.
Meanwhile, National Superstock 600 champion Lee Jackson is close to unveiling his plans for 2013.
The Skellingthorpe rider is wanted by teams in the British Supersport, National Superstock 1000 and European Superstock 600 series.
