Twenty acres of barley were ravaged by a field fire that was started by a fault in a combine harvester.

The vehicle was also damaged as it was engulfed in flames and the blaze spread across the land.

Six crews rushed to the farm, in Kelstern near Louth, on Monday, September 3.

Emergency services were called at 13.37pm.

Beaters were used to put out the flames.
