A PLAY park popular with families for generations is to be updated thanks to grant funding.

Woodhall Spa Parish Council has been awarded nearly £50,000 to update the play park in Jubilee Park.

The funding is being provided by WREN, Lincolnshire County Council and the Friends of Jubilee Park.

The work will hopefully be carried out in November this year.

Woodhall Spa Parish Council is extending its pool season until this Sunday.

It could be extended further if the weather in September stays warm.

The caravan site is to receive some much needed attention over the winter.

A full refurbishment of the shower blocks is planned including a disabled shower room, washing and drying facilities and a large washing up area.

The shower block will be ready and open for the 2013 season.

The caravan site aims to attract extra visitors until October 31 by offering camping with electric hook-up for £10 pounds per night for two people.

Bookings can be made by calling 01526 352448 or visiting www.jubileeparkwoodhallspa.co.uk

This deal comes with two free swims per day at the pool while the season lasts.
