Paul Farman produced a heroic performance to spare Lincoln City from a damaging defeat against relegation rivals Barrow this afternoon.

The Imps stopper twice denied Danny M Rowe and Danny L Rowe, while also producing a terrific save to thwart Richie Baker.

Lincoln offered very little in attack with Alan Power and Colin Larkin shooting straight at Danny Hurst.

Barrow had by far the better possession in the second half and had they more composure they would have walked away with three points.

As it was they had to settle for a draw which leaves Lincoln two points off the drop zone.

Lincoln as a city is not set up for a successful sports team. Average yokel simply does bot understand sport above the Five-a-side League and the Bowls Club. That's why they enjoy the Manager revolving door and the Echo devote far too many column inches to it. That they understand and can moan about. True to form they'll be shouting for another Manager come October.

Stats. against worst away defence in league. Shots 4, on target 3. Barrow, Shots 15, on 8. I know stats can be misleading, but not these.
