A Lincolnshire musician played alongside two X Factor contestants at a gig – despite first picking up a guitar 11 months ago.
Daniel Lee Lambert, from North Hykeham, organised a night featuring two hopefuls from the television series.
Worcestor singer Giles Potter, the 16-year-old who made it to Louis Walsh's house this year in the television series, performed with him in North Hykeham.
Fellow X Factor contestant Jack Walton also played at the gig, at the Fox and Hound pub on November 22.
And 23-year-old Daniel Lee Lambert believes struggling Lincolnshire pubs could be saved if more budding musicians could perform live music in them.
"I personally want to get more music to come out of Lincoln," he said.
"There is so much talent and nowhere to show it. I want to get people to come out of their shells."
Mr Lambert hopes organising further gigs will help encourage young people to play live music.
"Pubs are dying, let's get live music in pubs and fill them up again," he added.
Speakers and equipment for the night was provided by Playing Aloud in North Hykeham.
