Two women have been arrested after the alleged theft of £1,500 worth of goods, including perfume.
The arrests were made after security staff stopped the suspects outside Debenhams in St Mark’s Street, Lincoln, at around 3.30pm yesterday.
Goods believed to be stolen from Debenhams and other high street shops were recovered from a child’s pushchair the women were using.
A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of theft.
They have been released on police bail pending further enquiries until Monday January 20.
